Depart early from Entebbe or Kampala and travel west through rolling hills and terraced countryside toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. Make a scheduled stop at the Kayabwe Equator Line for photos and water flow experiments before continuing to the park. Arrive in the late afternoon and head straight out for an evening game drive across the Kasenyi Plains. Watch for grazing African elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and lions hunting as dusk settles over the savanna.

After a midday break, board a 2-hour launch trip along the famous Kazinga Channel. This natural waterway connects Lake George and Lake Edward, offering up-close views of one of Africa’s highest concentrations of hippos, giant Nile crocodiles, drinking elephant herds, and diverse waterbirds including African fish eagles and yellow-billed storks.
