Upon arrival at the airport, our skilled guides will extend a warm welcome to start your adventure. The journey begins with a picturesque morning drive at 7:00am through the heart of rural Uganda towards Kibale National Park (approximately four hours). Along the way, enjoy a delicious lunch in the charming town of Fort Portal at 12:00pm.
After lunch, continue the scenic drive to our carefully selected lodge. Check in and unwind, immersing yourself in the tranquil surroundings promises a relaxing and enchanting evening.

Day 2

You’ll wake up early in time for breakfast at 6:30am before heading to the park headquarters by 7:00am. Here, you'll receive a briefing from the park rangers before embarking on a group trek with an armed ranger to encounter chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Capture memorable moments with videos and photographs during this unique experience.
After the trek, return to the lodge for a delicious lunch and some short relaxation to recharge. Around 3:00pm, you’ll head to the Bigodi wetlands for a swamp walk. Accompanied by a local guide, explore the biodiversity of the area and spot birds like the great blue turaco, as well as observe primates in their natural habitat.
Return to the lodge in the evening for relaxation and reflection, enjoying the serene atmosphere at the lodge. As a tip, check out the episode “Apes” on the second season of the Netflix series "Animals,” which is based in Kibale, to get a glimpse of what awaits you!
