After completing immigration and customs formalities, you'll be warmly welcomed by our team. You'll then be transferred to your accommodation in or near Entebbe. Nothing much is scheduled for this day except resting and relaxing after the long journey such that you get fresh for the rest of the safari.

Day 2

Today, you will start on the long waited safari starting with the northwestern part of Uganda with a stop over at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary before reaching Murchison falls National park. This 70 sq km sanctuary is home to more than 30 white rhinos and its main purpose is to reintroduce rhinos to Uganda. This is a great opportunity to observe the rhinos in their habitat at close range while on foot. After this adventure, you will have a lunch break and then proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Arriving in the Evening.

Day 3

Morning Game Drive & Boat Safari on the River Nile and hike to the op of the falls

Eat breakfast in the morning before going on a game drive in the park’s northern area in search of some of the ‘Big Five’ (buffaloes, lions, elephants and possibly leopards). Other animals you might see include Rothschild giraffes, bushbucks, warthogs, waterbucks and a variety of antelopes. Return to your accommodation for lunch and a brief repose. After lunch, you will embark on a 3-hour boat trip to the base of the fall. This trip is said to be the highlight of the safari in Murchison Falls since it allows you to get up close to the animal species within the water. Cruise past huge hippo pods, crocodiles and numerous aquatic birds adorning the north bank on the way to the mighty waterfalls. You will have an opportunity to take thousands of pictures, so carry your camera with you if you like.
After the boat cruise, you will drive slowly back to the lodge while having some game drives.

You will have breakfast early in the morning and transfer to the Kibale Forest National Park. On the way to Kibale National Park, you will have the opportunity to see tea plantations and banana plantations. We shall also have a stopover at the tea plantation for some photos before we proceed to our lodge.

You will wake up early for breakfast and thereafter proceed to the park headquarters in Kibale Forest National Park. After a short briefing by one of the park staff, you will be allocated a guide who will lead you into the forest to find the chimpanzees. This park is the only place in East Africa where one can have the best primate tracking to view the chimpanzee - man’s closest relative. After lunch, you will head out for the swamp walk which is very close to the park, you will be able to see a number of other primates and many bird species.

After breakfast, you will set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park reaching in lunch time hours. After having lunch, you will go for an evening game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Here, you can expect to see the Big 4 (elephant, buffalo, lion, and leopard) as well as bushbucks, kobs, giant forest hogs, hyenas, waterbucks, and many birds. You will then return to your hotel for an overnight rest to get fresh for the following days activities.

After an early breafast, You will head out for a morning game drive with the aim of catching sight of the early risers in their natural habitat. You can expect to see the Big 4 (elephant, buffalo, lion, and leopard) as well as bushbucks, kobs, giant forest hogs, hyenas, waterbucks, and many birds. You will there you will retire to the hotel for lunch break.

After lunch, we will head to the jetty for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes Edward and George. Expect to see a number of animals along the bank and a variety of waterbirds.

Be up and have your breakfast served. Go for tree-climbing lions’ sighting and thereafter transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda (harboring an estimated 400 mountain gorillas—roughly half of the world’s population), including several habituated groups, which can be tracked. With a strenuous day ahead, you will do less on arrival but just check into your accommodation and relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the following day.

We always regard this day to be the biggest of all days on the safari. After breakfast, we will head out to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by one of the park staff. You will then go with the lead guide who will take you into the forest to find the gorilla family that you will be allocated to. This may take between 2 and 7 hours, depending on how long the family you are trekking has moved from where it was last seen. Depending on how you feel, you may go out for an evening community walk through the villages very close to the forest.

After breakfast, you will depart from Bwindi and head to Lake Bunyonyi Kabale where you will have some time to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. You can also have an evening walk through the surrounding villages. There is also the option to go for a boat ride on the lake, visiting some of the islands.

Today, you will depart from lake Bunyonyi after breakfast and head to Lake Mburo National Park with a lunch stop in Mbarara. Thereafter, you will proceed to the park. On arrival you will head for a game drive. You can expect to see zebras, impalas, kobs, buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, and a variety of birds. You will then return to your hotel for an overnight rest.

After an early breakfast, you will head out for morning guided walk safari. On this safari you often encounter hyenas that are returning to their dens after a night of being on the prowl – at the same time you can often see hippos returning from grazing during the night and returning to Lake Mburo to keep cool during the day and protect their sensitive skin from the sun. On a nature walk you will often see Zebras, Giraffes, Eland, Topi and other antelopes, buffalos, birds, butterflies. You will start your journey back to Entebbe. You will go cross the equator and experience being the Northern and Southern Hemisphere the same time an also have time to take photos. Buy a few souvenirs in the craft shops and have a quick picnic lunch. Later you depart to the Entebbe Airport.
