Transfer from Nairobi, arrival in Diani and relaxation on the beach with local vibes

You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel. Following your pickup, there will be a short briefing about the tour and an introduction to the Fillers Tours crew. You will then be transferred to the SGR Syokimau station, check in, and embark on your journey to Mombasa. Upon arrival in Mombasa, our team will be waiting for you at the SGR terminus and will transfer you to Diani.

Once you arrive in Diani and check into your accommodation, you can enjoy lunch and begin your day by relaxing on Diani Beach—famous for its long stretch of white sandy shoreline and clear turquoise waters. Take a swim, stroll along the coast, or simply unwind. After lunch, spend some time walking along the beach or exploring nearby shops and markets. The local vibe in Diani is relaxed and coastal, ideal for light exploration. In the evening, if you're in the mood, enjoy a casual drink at one of the beach bars or catch a local performance, depending on what's happening around town.

Wildlife and culture adventure

After breakfast, take a short drive to Shimba Hills and enjoy a morning game drive, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Visit Sheldrick Falls and take a scenic walk through the beautiful surroundings. Lunch will be served at one of the lodges near Shimba Hills, offering a taste of traditional Kenyan cuisine amid the tranquility of nature.

In the afternoon, head to Kaya Kinondo, a sacred forest of deep cultural and spiritual significance to the Digo people. A guided walk will introduce you to the area’s unique flora and fauna, as well as its rich history. For a more relaxed evening, dine at The Diani Seafood Restaurant, renowned for its fresh local seafood and stunning beach views, all within a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

Marine escapade and depature

After breakfast, embark on a boat ride to Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park for some of the best snorkeling and diving opportunities in the region. Swim alongside tropical fish, spot sea turtles, and explore the pristine coral reefs. You may also encounter dolphins during the excursion. Following your marine adventure, take a boat to Wasini Island, renowned for its laid-back atmosphere and exceptional seafood. Enjoy a traditional Swahili lunch featuring fresh fish, coconut rice, and other island specialties.

In the afternoon, return to Diani to visit the Colobus Conservation Centre, where you can learn about ongoing efforts to protect the endangered colobus monkeys that inhabit the area. Afterwards, browse the local markets for souvenirs before transferring to the SGR station for your departure to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your preferred hotel or at the airport for your onward international flight.
