Transfer from Nairobi To Meru National Park

You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel. Afterward, there will be a briefing about the tour and an introduction to the Filler's Tours crew, and you will embark on your journey to Meru National Park.

On your way to Meru, you will pass through unique landscapes, with Nanyuki being a popular stopover. It is known for its scenic views of Mount Kenya.

Upon arrival at your lodge or camp, settle in and enjoy a relaxing lunch while taking in stunning views of the surrounding park landscapes.

Begin your safari with an exciting afternoon game drive. Meru is home to the Big Five, as well as diverse wildlife including giraffes and various antelope species. Visit the Mugwathi Hill area for excellent views and wildlife sightings.

Return to your lodge for dinner and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the park. Watch the sunset over the plains as wildlife grazes in the fading light.

Game Drives And Nature Walks

Start your day with a sunrise game drive to catch the park’s wildlife at their most active. This is the best time to spot predators like lions and leopards, as well as early risers such as elephants and buffaloes. Head towards the Rhino Sanctuary or the Meru Hills for excellent sightings.

After your morning drive, you can stop for some birdwatching around the lodge or along the banks of the Tana River. Enjoy a relaxing lunch and take a break from the heat of the day.

In the afternoon, set out on a nature walk led by a knowledgeable guide. This allows you to learn about the ecosystem, plant life, and smaller wildlife that you might miss during a vehicle safari. Meru boasts a wonderful variety of flora and fauna to discover up close.

After a full day of exploration, return to your lodge to unwind. Dinner awaits, accompanied by the peaceful sounds of the African night.

Exploring The Unique Wildlife And Depature

Immediately after you wake up and enjoy breakfast, your guide and driver will be waiting for you to embark on your drive towards Ol Pejeta for another one-of-a-kind game drive and witness the last two northern white rhinos in the world.

Thereafter, you will visit the chimpanzee sanctuary before breaking for lunch.

After lunch, plan to depart for Nairobi. On your way back, you can stop at the Equator for a photo shoot and learn more about its history.

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will either be dropped off at your preferred hotel or taken directly to the airport for your onward international flight.

That will mark the end of your 3-day safari..
