Day 1

Your driver-guide will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala and transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, there is a chance to see lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffaloes, and elephants. You will experience Murchison Falls, one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world. The park is also a birder's paradise, with over 450 bird species, including the shoebill stork (a rare sighting), dwarf kingfisher, white-thighed hornbill, and goliath heron.
En route, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking, where you will spend about an hour observing rhinos. Afterward, you will have lunch at Kabalega Dinner. The journey then continues to the park, where you will check in at your accommodations and take some time to relax in the evening in preparation for the next day.

Day 2

Have an early breakfast, then tour the northern section of Murchison, which carries a high concentration of wildlife. Enjoy game viewing and photography of elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, and leopards plus a variety of bird species. Return to your accommodations for lunch as you prepare for a three-hour boat trip to the base of the falls. This trip is said to be the highlight of a Murchison Falls safari since it allows you to get up close to the animal species in the water. Cruise past huge hippo pods, crocodiles and numerous aquatic birds adorning the north bank on the way to the mighty waterfalls.
You may also take an optional hike to the top of the falls. This hike is strenuous, but the thrill of reaching the top is unforgettable. Return to your accommodations for dinner and your overnight stay.

A transfer south from Murchison Falls to Queen Elizabeth National Park covers approximately 350 kilometers. This journey offers a view of rural Ugandan life as you pass through a variety of landscapes. You will also pass through diverse ecosystems, including grasslands and lakes formed by volcanic craters. An evening game drive provides an opportunity to see a variety of animal species in their natural environment.

Today you will go on an early morning chimpanzee trek in Kalinzu Forest. The trek follows chimpanzees through the dense forest, observing their interactions and behavior. In the afternoon, a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel provides another wildlife viewing opportunity, with hippos, elephants, and various bird species along the riverbanks. Afterward, you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Have breakfast, then set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is famous for its resident tree-climbing lions. You have about a 70% chance of seeing the lions.
Bwindi is a large habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda, harboring an estimated 1,000 mountain gorillas, roughly half of the world’s population. It includes several habituated groups, which can be tracked. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda's oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, which dates back over 25,000 years and contains almost 400 species of plants. With a strenuous day ahead, you will take it easy upon arrival, checking into your accommodations and the relazing as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the following day.

After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, you will enter the impenetrable Bwindi Forest. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular. The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but numerous criss crossing animal trails allow for easy access for tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed one hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an exciting experience to be long savored.
Afterwards, you will return to your lodge for lunch and then check out for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green terraced hills that reach heights of 2,200–2,478 m, but it is the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most remarkable. At about 900 m deep, it is considered the third deepest lake in Africa.

Day 7

Have early breakfast and then embark on your return journey to Entebbe Airport. You will stop en route for lunch and to see the Equator line. Proceed with the journey, arriving in the late afternoon/evening for drop-off at the airport. This will mark the end of your amazing Ugandan safari tour.
