Day 1

Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel or airport and give a briefing before heading to Murchison Falls in northern Uganda. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola to see rhinos being reintroduced to the wild, trek the sanctuary, and enjoy lunch and a short break. Continue your road trip to Murchison Falls, arriving in the evening.

Check in at the lodge, then join your guide for an evening game drive in the park to spot lions, leopards, hyenas, and more before returning for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2

Morning Game Drive, Boat Cruise, and Hike to the Top of the Falls

After an early morning tea or coffee, transfer to the northern bank for a game drive in search of lions, giraffes, oribis, elephants, Jackson’s hartebeests, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch and rest.

In the afternoon, enjoy a 3-hour Nile boat ride to the base of the falls, spotting hippos, elephants, a variety of bird species, crocodiles, and riverside wildlife. Later drive to the top of the falls for panoramic views, then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, depart for Kibale Forest National Park. The drive is long but scenic, passing charming villages, lush countryside, and hills dotted with tea plantations. Kibale is famous for its diverse primates, including chimpanzees, black-and-white colobus, red-tailed monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and Uganda mangabeys. During the chimpanzee trek, observe them swinging through trees and foraging.
Upon arrival at your lodge, check in, enjoy dinner, and relax for the night.

After a hearty breakfast, drive to the Bwindi ranger's post. Following this, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rainforest is truly spectacular!. The time required and the terrain encountered will vary depending on the movements of these magnificent primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed to spend an hour in their presence. The thrill of observing these gentle yet endangered giants is an unforgettable experience.

Afterward, you will return for lunch before driving to Lake Bunyonyi. The lake is bordered by lush, green terraced hills that rise to heights of 2,200 to 2,478 meters, but it is the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that lend it an almost magical quality.
