Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

The Masai Mara is known for its abundant wildlife, home to more than 95 animal species and over 400 bird species. From July to October, the Great Migration arrives, bringing huge herds of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, antelopes, and impalas, all attempting to cross the Mara River.

Your safari begins with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport, followed by a drive to the Masai Mara. You will arrive in time for lunch and have some time to relax after the drive. At 1600hrs, you will depart for an afternoon game drive. At 1830hrs, you will return to the lodge or camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve

This day is reserved entirely for game viewing, with a flexible schedule that you can adjust with your guide. You can choose from the following options:

Option 1
0600 hrs: Depart for an early morning game drive, then return to your lodge for breakfast and a leisurely morning rest. Have lunch at a convenient time and relax until your next game drive.
1600 hrs: Depart for an afternoon game drive.
1830 hrs: Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Option 2
For a full-day adventure, you can opt for a whole-day game drive with a picnic lunch and return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

Option 3
For an additional cost, visits to a Masai Manyatta can be arranged. Another popular option is a romantic hot air balloon trip, where you can view the animals from above and enjoy a lavish breakfast in the bush upon landing. We recommend booking this in advance. You can also arrange an optional bush dinner under the African sky for an extra cost.
