On this day, your assigned driver-guide will pick you up at your Kigali address and take you on a city tour that includes visits to the Kigali genocide memorial site, marketplaces, a museum, and other historical sites. Later, you'll travel to Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda, passing through stunning terraced hills with views of the terrain and altitude of the area. You will have a relaxing evening at the lodge as you prepare for the next day's adventures.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge before heading to Volcanoes National Park for golden monkey trekking. After a briefing from park rangers on guidelines, set off with your expert guide through the lush, green forest, listening for their distinctive calls. Watch their acrobatic antics and social interactions, capturing memorable photos of these charming primates.
After this incredible wildlife encounter, return to the lodge for lunch, then drive to the Rwanda-Uganda border, clear customs, and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 3

Enjoy an early breakfast to prepare for the day. Head to the park headquarters for a briefing on trekking procedures, safety, and gorilla etiquette. Embark on a guided trek into the dense forest in search of a gorilla family, lasting 2–8 hours depending on their location. Spend up to one hour observing these gentle giants. Carry a packed lunch for the trek.
In the afternoon, visit the Batwa community before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha Sector
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha Sector
In the morning, transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP, stopping in the Ishasha sector to spot the famous tree-climbing lions. Situated in southwestern Uganda at the base of the Rwenzori Mountains, near Lake Edward and Lake George joined by the Kazinga Channel, the park is the country’s second largest and rich in biodiversity, with savannahs, bushlands, wetlands, and forests.
In the evening, enjoy a game drive to see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators like lions, leopards, civets, genets, and servals.

After breakfast, set off on a morning game drive to spot elephants, Cape buffalo, lions, leopards, and more. Queen Elizabeth National Park features 200 km of game tracks with 5,000 hippos, 2,500 elephants, and over 10,000 buffalo. Return to your lodge for rest and lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a two-hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, home to hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and abundant birds. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at your accommodation.

Day 6

After a cup of coffee, you will transfer to Kibale NP with an en-route view of the crater lakes region of Ndali and Kasende. Kibale National Park is renowned for its diverse primate population, including chimpanzees, black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, and Uganda mangabeys (Lophocebus ugandae).
In the afternoon, you will go chimpanzee trekking; you will have the opportunity to observe these fascinating creatures swinging through the trees and foraging for wild fruits and spend some time with them.

Day 7
Transfer to Entebbe
Transfer to Entebbe
After breakfast, you'll transfer to Kampala with an en-route visit to the Equator point for photo moments and souvenirs. You will have lunch before you embark on your journey to Entebbe.
Note: This safari can either end in Entebbe or Kigali in Rwanda depending on your travel arrangements.
