Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your Friendship Adventure Safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation after breakfast. This morning, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, which is approximately a two-and-a-half-hour journey on good tarmac roads. The park is named after the Tarangire River, the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. Known for its large elephant herds, the park offers great opportunities to observe these magnificent animals congregating by the river.
Additionally, you may encounter giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest, with various predators such as lions and leopards often in the vicinity. Tarangire is also home to the highest diversity of bird species anywhere on the planet. You will find ancient baobab trees throughout the park, some of which are believed to be over a thousand years old. A picnic lunch will be served at a designated site inside the park. After your game drive, you will transit to your accommodation in Karatu.

Day 3
Karatu to Ndutu
Karatu to Ndutu
After breakfast, depart from Karatu and drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Ndutu, located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Enjoy scenic landscapes along the way and keep an eye out for wildlife as your game drive begins en route. During the calving season (December to April), Ndutu is home to thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, attracting predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards.
Spend the afternoon exploring the vast pains and searching for unforgettable wildlife encounters before heading to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4
Ndutu to Ngorongoro Highlands
Ndutu to Ngorongoro Highlands
Early in the morning after breakfast, we will enjoy the last game drive in Ndutu Area. Late in the afternoon, we will proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This UNESCO World Heritage Site formed millions of years ago with the massive explosion of a volcano once higher than Kilimanjaro is 610m deep and covers roughly 304sq km. It has a dense animal population of approximately 25 000 ungulates. After a final game drive in Ndutu, you will drive to your accommodation at the crater rim for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, descending 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Explore one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife destinations, where you may spot the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, along with lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, and a variety of birdlife.
After enjoying a picnic lunch at the crater walls and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. This marks the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari.
