After a picturesque morning flight from Dar es Salaam to Arusha, your guide will warmly welcome you and begin the scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its majestic baobab trees and large herds of elephants, Tarangire offers an unforgettable introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife.
Upon arrival, you’ll set off on your first game drive, exploring the park’s varied landscapes and encountering a range of animals, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lions. A relaxing picnic lunch will be served amidst the stunning African bush, before continuing with your afternoon game drive.
As evening approaches, you'll make your way to the lodge for a delicious dinner and a peaceful night’s rest, ready for more adventures to come.

Day 3

After breakfast in Arusha, embark on a scenic 1.5 to 2-hour drive to Materuni Village at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, where your day begins with a guided 40-minute hike through lush rainforest and farmlands filled with bananas, coffee, and avocados. Upon reaching the stunning 80-meter Materuni Waterfall, take time to enjoy the serene atmosphere, snap photos, and swim in the refreshing natural pool.
After the hike, return to the village for a traditional Chagga lunch and a hands-on coffee-making experience, where you'll roast, grind, and brew your own cup of local Arabica coffee while enjoying lively Chagga songs and cultural stories. The experience concludes with a walk through the village, offering the chance to interact with locals and learn more about their way of life, before beginning a late afternoon or early evening drive back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
