Nairobi to Masai Mara

On arrival at the airport, our tour manager will warmly welcome you, brief you on your safari, and escort you to your vehicle. Depart to the Masai Mara National Reserve, which is commonly known for the great herds, if not millions, of wildebeest migrating from Serengeti National Reserve in Tanzania, as well as the 'Big Five" (lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah and rhino), and many other animals. It is about a five-hour drive via Narok town. You will arrive in time for lunch, check in at Lenchada Tourist Camp, relax, then go for an afternoon game-viewing drive. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

With a packed lunch, you will head to the reserve for a full day of game viewing. You will break for lunch.

The Masai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife reserve. Everything about this reserve is outstanding. It is one of the best plains game reserves where you can actually encounter a live "Discovery Channel", a haven for viewing a congregation of all sorts of animals in a five-mile radius. You can spot a pride of lions ready to make a run for a gazelle, a cheetah and its cub napping on a rock, a pair of ostriches walking the open stretches of the savannah, or a gazelle giving birth. Spot herds of elephants wallowing in a waterhole, a herd of buffaloes feeding, or crocodiles hunting migrating wildebeest or gazelles. Other sightings may include a clan of hyenas fighting over a hunted meal, a vulture tearing at carcasses, and giraffes feeding on the top leaves of acacia trees. Return for dinner and overnight at the camp.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, you will head to Lake Nakuru National Park. On arrival, check into Golden Palace Resort for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. The park is known for its thousands, if not millions, of flamingos that reside on the lake. The flamingos make the lake waters look pink when their color reflects on the water. You will return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli

After breakfast, you will leave Lake Naivasha National Park and proceed to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is home to the African elephant and is crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak. It is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. It has abundant wildlife, including leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, buffalo, elephants, hyraxes, dik-diks, and more, as well as prolific birdlife with 600 species, including vultures, eagles, weaverbirds, etc.

Upon arrival, check in at Kimana Amboseli Camp and have lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Return to the same lodge for dinner and overnight.

Explore Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, head to Amboseli National Park for a safari. Amboseli is known as the best place in Africa for getting up close to elephants. The population is so robust here that sightings are guaranteed! Kilimanjaro, Africa's largest mountain and the world's highest free-standing mountain, towers over the park like a stately, photogenic sentinel. When the clouds burn off at dusk or dawn, you’ll be treated to visions of its snowy peak.

You'll arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. During the game drive, you will spot wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, gazelles, cheetahs, lions and many more. The birdlife is equally rich, especially in the park’s marshes and lakes. Be ready for sightings of pelicans, kingfishers, crakes, egrets and the Madagascar heron. The sky and horizon are vast here, encompassing Amboseli’s five wildlife environments, which support large numbers and high biodiversity.
