Day 1

Johannesburg to Kruger

Johannesburg to Kruger

You will be picked up from O.R. Tambo International Airport and driven to Umkumbe Bush Lodge. The drive will take about six hours, with stops for refreshments. After arriving at the lodge around midday, you will have time to freshen up and relax before departing on your first afternoon game drive in the reserve in an open safari vehicle. If the weather permits, a delicious starlit dinner will be served at the boma.

Day 2-4

Morning and Sunset Safari

Morning and Sunset Safari

Before leaving on the morning game drives, enjoy a nice cup of coffee and rusks after an early wake-up call. See the sunrise over the African bush and hope to spot some still-hunting night-time animals. You will return to the lodge in time for a late breakfast, and after that, the rest of the day is yours to do as you want. Your game drive for the afternoon will
leave at approximately 16h00 and return shortly after dusk, in time for you to relax around the boma and have dinner.

Note: Optional bush walk for an additional R1,350.

You will get up early, grab a hot beverage and rusk, and head out on your final morning game drive. You will return to the lodge for breakfast after witnessing the sunrise before departing for Johannesburg. You will arrive at O.R. Tambo around 17h00.
