Arrival - Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

Our driver-guide meets you upon arrival at your exit terminal for a meet and greet, then begins your safari adventure in Kenya with a visit to the Giraffe Centre, Nairobi. The Giraffe Centre is a refreshing experience for the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (A.F.E.W. Kenya), a Kenyan non-profit organization, whose main purpose is to educate Kenyan school children and youth on the country’s wildlife and environment, as well as allow local and international visitors to come into close contact with the world’s tallest species, the giraffe. Thereafter, you'll depart for Masai Mara with a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley for breathtaking views and photography of the escarpment. Then, you'll proceed to the Masai Mara approximately. 4-hour drive to the main gate and arrive before lunch.

In the evening, you'll go for an introductory game viewing drive until sunset and go back to the camp before dinner and an overnight stay.

Explore The Magic of Mara

Today, you'll go for a full-day wildlife-viewing drive inside the world's renowned Masai Mara National Reserve in search of the Big Five!

You'll spend your day driving through the vast savannahs and rolling plains, coming across different species of wildlife, including black-manned lions, cheetahs, leopards, elands, impalas, zebras, wildbeests, Thomson's gazelles, but also numerous elephants, experiencing different hunting, feeding, and mating scenes.

The Mara River traverses from North to South. This course is a natural barrier crossed each year by the large migratory herds of wildebeest, Thomson's gazelles, and zebra, en route to the crocodile-infested Mara River, coupled with predatory cats. This experience is often emphasized by our driver-guides, and guests can also hike across the Mara River accompanied by armed park rangers. You'll break for a picnic lunch at the hippo pods before driving back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara - Masai Village Tour, Transfer to Nairobi

Today, you'll enjoy a relaxed breakfast, then summarise your safari adventure with a visit to the Masai Village nearby to learn firsthand about their culture and traditions. You will be invited to try dancing and have the opportunity to interact with the Masai people right in their dwellings. Thereafter, you'll depart for Nairobi with a drop-off at your initial starting point.
