Pick up from Arusha and transfer to Tarangire National Park for full game drive

Program: Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our guide will pick you up with your lunch for the game drive. The drive is approximately 151 km from Arusha to Tarangire National Park.

The national park is named after the Tarangire River, the only source of water for the wildlife in the region during the Dry season. The park is home to a very diverse vegetation, unlike that of any other northern safari destination. Tarangire National Park contains a very large concentration of wildlife, including the largest species in Africa and hundreds of bird species. The park was established in 1970 and is most famous for its large diversity of wildlife, vegetation, birds, tree-climbing African pythons and baobab trees.

Apart from game viewing, Tarangire National Park is also the best destination for bird watching. Tourists can also engage in cultural visits and nature walking. Enjoy your lunch box inside the park, and later, head to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Program: Today, after breakfast, you will have lunch and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descend into the crater, and enjoy a game drive.

Here you will have the chance to enjoy the new environment and spectacular landscapes, and to spot all of the Big Five (rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant) living in this incredible, uninterrupted volcanic caldera. Other wildlife includes zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birds include flamingoes on the soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Your lunch will be served at the picnic site in the crater at Ngoitoktok swamp, a hippo pool.

Once we finish the game drive, we will transfer you to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport, ready for your flight back home or to another destination.
