Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will meet with our Safari driver/guide. Depending on your arrival time, your driver/guide will take you on a city tour of Kigali, including the Genocide Memorial Center. Later, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda via the border arriving in time at the lodge to relax and prepare for your ultimate gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Day 2

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Today is the big day! Prepare yourself for an encounter with the gentle mountain gorillas. After your morning breakfast, you will go to the headquarters of the Park where the park rangers will brief you about the gorilla trekking experience. You will go into the forest in groups of not more than 8 in search of mountain gorillas. En route, your guide will point out previous signs of gorilla activity such as dung, nests, and chewed bamboo shoots.
This trek is an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes, and bamboo. Upon finding the gorillas, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour with them after which you will be led back to the starting point.
After the gorilla trekking, you will transfer to Lake Mburo National park to immerse yourself in the beauty of this Park. When you arrive early at Lake Mburo NP, you will go for a short evening game drive.

Day 3

Morning game drive In Lake Mburo NP, transfer to Entebbe
Enjoy breakfast then proceed for a morning game drive in the park. This drive offers excellent opportunities to spot wildlife in the cool morning hours. Optional activities at an extra cost are available as an alternative to the game drive. You may choose a guided walking safari, cycling, or horseback safari, all of which allow you to experience the wilderness at close range. You'll encounter zebras, giraffes, elands, topis, other antelope species, and Cape buffaloes, among others. You'll also take a trail to the top of the surrounding hills, where you will be rewarded with panoramic views of Lake Mburo and the surrounding landscape. From this vantage point, you can see up to nine of the twelve lakes that form the Lake Mburo National Park ecosystem.
Return to the accommodation, check out, and begin your drive to Entebbe. You'll stop at the Equator crossing to take memorable photos and enjoy this iconic landmark in the Pearl of Africa before continuing to your final drop-off.
