We expect you to arrive at Entebbe International Airport in the morning, where you will be met and warmly welcomed by our safari guide. The guide will brief you on what to expect during the tour as you travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park in a comfortable 4x4 pop-up safari Land Cruiser.
The journey takes approximately seven hours, with a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch. Depending on your arrival time at the park, you may enjoy an evening game drive if you feel energetic and interested. Otherwise, you can relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night at the lodge.

Enjoy breakfast, then set off for an exciting morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You'll be fascinated by the sight of animals including herds of buffaloes, African elephants, Uganda kob, waterbuck, warthogs, bushbucks, lions among others. After the drive, return to the lodge to relax and enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon, you'll proceed for a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel. This memorable water safari lasts about two to three hours and offers excellent opportunities to see hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and water birds. In the evening, relax at lodge or spend the evening on a short game drive.

Today we leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Park via the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth famous for the tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector. There is 70% chance of spotting these lions up in the trees and more wildlife in this part of the park. We will connect to Bwindi, arriving in time to visit the Batwa pygmy’s community. Relax at the lodge as you prepare for the strenous but exciting gorilla trekking hike the next day.

Bwindi Gorilla Trekking, Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi to Relax
Bwindi Gorilla Trekking, Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi to Relax
After breakfast, you'll transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing on trekking guidelines and safety. You'll be will assigned to a gorilla family, and you will trek in a small group of up to 8 people. Bwindi is home to about 20 habituated gorilla families, each offering a unique experience. The trek can take between 2 and 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas, and includes one precious hour of face-to-face interaction with the family. Expect to hike through dense rainforest, navigate steep and sometimes muddy trails, and encounter rich birdlife and other forest species along the way. The experience is both physically demanding and deeply rewarding, culminating in a powerful moment spent observing the gorillas in their natural habitat.
After the trek, drive to Lake Bunyonyi, home to 29 scenic islands. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing at your lodge, enjoying sunset views over the lake and the gentle sounds of birds as the day comes to a peaceful close.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast beside the serene waters of Lake Bunyonyi, soaking in the gentle morning mist and the calming sounds of nature. Afterwards, set off on a scenic drive back to Entebbe, winding through Uganda’s rolling hills, terraced farmlands, and vibrant roadside towns, with a pleasant lunch stop along the way. You will arrive in the evening carrying lasting memories of Uganda’s remarkable wildlife, breathtaking landscapes, and warm-hearted people.
