Day 1
Tarangire National Park

Picking up from your hotel in Arusha early in the morning (around 8:00 am) and start our safari. You'll transfer to Tarangire National Park. This is one of the best kept secret’ s of the north circuit. The park covers an area of 2,850 sq km, and it offers some unique and diverse landscapes. The permanent presence of water in the area makes it a good choice, especially during the dry season (June - Oct, Dec - Feb), as plenty of wild animals migrate here. The park is home to big baobab trees, big mammals, and especially elephants, as well as other carnivores. You'll have lunch inside the park and an afternoon game drive. In the evening, you'll transfer to the lodge.

Day 2
Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park
You will go on a beautiful, short journey across the Great Rift Valley until you arrive at Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. Although small in dimension (205 sq. miles), the park has breathtaking scenery and is famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs, mahogany trees, and its growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Permanent residents of this park also include giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a huge number of buffalo and hippos. It is hard to describe the landscape of Lake Manyara in words. Game drives along the lake provide stunning photo opportunities of giraffes and buffalo in the foreground and the lake (and its flamingos) in the background. You will be transferred to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in the evening.

Day 3
Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will make your way towards the most famous national park in the world: the Serengeti. The drive itself, although long, is spectacular. Seeing the Serengeti for the first time is unforgettable. As you progress into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in the local language, "endless plains". The park is made up of 6,900 square miles (18,000 sq. km) and, for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon and defy your senses and perception of distance. It is the home of the Great Migration, two million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and all kinds of antelopes. As for big cats and other large predators, it's the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Many famous television scenes have been filmed in this park. You will be transferred to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in the evening.

Day 4

You will have a full day in Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences, and each day will be organized according to your wishes. Your guide will discuss with you the best times for your game drives and waking up. For example, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and relaxation, and then finish with an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, you could do a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. You will be transferred to the lodge for dinner and overnight in the evening.

Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

Today, we suggest a very early wake-up in order to go out on a game drive when the animals are most active and to see one of the best sunrises you'll ever witness. After the game drive, we will return to the camp for a rewarding brunch before making our way to Ngorongoro, the Eighth Natural Wonder of the World. The crater covers 102 sq. miles and has 2.000 ft high walls. It is a modern-day, with almost every wildlife species indigenous to East Africa calling the crater home. It's one of the very rare locations on the whole continent where you can see the black rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants, which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a wonder to behold. You will reach Ngorongoro in time for a sundowner. You will be transferred to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in the evening.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
You will start the day very early and descend onto the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife viewing in one of the most stunning places on Earth. After the game drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch near the beautiful hippo lake. After lunch, you will go on one more short game drive and then ascend the crater. Upon exiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will make your way towards Arusha or to your preferred location.
