Day 1

We will pick you up from your hotel and introduce you to your expert guide and chef. Your adventure begins with a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its breathtaking landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and its impressive elephant population. As you embark on a thrilling game drive, you’ll witness large elephant herds and a diverse array of wildlife, including giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and, with some luck, elusive predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Midday, we’ll pause at the picturesque Tarangire River picnic site for a relaxing lunch amidst stunning scenery and the sounds of nature. Keep an eye out for playful monkeys and baboons nearby. After lunch, we continue our wildlife exploration before exiting the park around 4:30 pm, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Tarangire’s incredible beauty.

After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its incredible biodiversity. Once you descend into this natural marvel, you'll be immersed in a wildlife haven, home to the iconic Big Five and an abundance of other animals within the breathtaking volcanic caldera.

During your thrilling game drive, you'll have the chance to spot majestic lions, rhinos, elephants, and various other species in their natural habitat.

Around midday, enjoy a delightful picnic lunch by the serene hippo pool, surrounded by panoramic views of the crater’s lush landscape. In the late afternoon, we will ascend from the crater and begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, where you will arrive in the evening for a restful overnight stay at your hotel.

Materuni is a picturesque village nestled at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, just 15km from Moshi Town and bordering Kilimanjaro National Park. This charming settlement is home to the Chagga people, known for their rich cultural heritage.

Your English-speaking guide will pick you up in the morning for an immersive journey into Materuni Village. Upon arrival, you'll complete a brief registration at the village office before setting off on your adventure.

As you explore, your guide will introduce you to the traditions of the Chagga community, offering fascinating insights into their daily life, customs, and the surrounding plant and animal life. If the weather permits, you may even catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro’s majestic peak.

Next, experience an authentic coffee tour where you'll learn the traditional process of coffee-making and even try roasting and brewing your own cup. After this enriching experience, you will begin your return trip to Arusha or the airport.
