1-Day Safari to See Mt Kilimanjaro

• You'll be collected from the airport.

You'll embark on an unforgettable day hike along Mount Kilimanjaro's renowned Marangu Route, immersing yourself in the mountain's diverse ecosystems and breathtaking landscapes.

You'll begin your adventure with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation in Moshi or Arusha. You'll arrive at Marangu Gate (1,860 meters/6,102 feet) to complete registration formalities and receive a briefing from your professional guide.

You'll embark on a 4-6 hour trek through Kilimanjaro's lush rainforest, home to diverse flora and fauna, including blue monkeys and colobus monkeys.

You'll reach Mandara Hut (2,700 meters/8,860 feet) for a well-deserved lunch and rest.

If time and energy permit, you'll take a short hike to Maundi Crater for panoramic views of Kilimanjaro's peaks and the surrounding landscapes.

Then, you'll begin your descent back to Marangu Gate, where you'll receive a certificate of completion before returning to your accommodation.
