Day 2
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
In the early morning, your personal safari guide will arrive at your accommodation in Arusha to begin your adventure. The drive to Tarangire will take you along a well-paved tarmac road, through the gently rolling Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees. Along the way, you will see many Maasai people in their colorful attire, walking by the roadside, cycling, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts.
Tarangire National Park is famous for its large herds of elephants. From the open-roof vehicle, you will explore the seasonal swamps, savanna, and the Tarangire River, searching for a variety of wildlife, including zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and giraffes. You may also have the chance to observe a lion stalking its prey or leopards resting in the trees above. After an extensive game drive, filled with the captivating sights and sounds of the wilderness, you will leave the park and head to a nearby luxury hotel, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater

After enjoying an early breakfast, you will travel through the Rift Valley towards the cooler climates of the Ngorongoro Highlands. The Ngorongoro Crater, the largest volcanic caldera on the planet, measures nearly 20 kilometers across and is about 610 meters deep. It is famous for its rich wildlife diversity, including the renowned "Big Five": lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard, and is justly celebrated as one of the wonders of the world. Its splendor is truly remarkable.
Beyond the Big Five, various springs in the region draw in animals such as wildebeests, gazelles, reedbucks, and more than 500 species of birds. You will have lunch at a picnic area before resuming your game viewing within the crater. In the afternoon, you will navigate the steep road out of the crater and head back to your hotel.

Day 4
Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park 120km west of Arusha. The park’s namesake is a shallow, salt lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. On your exploration of the park, you will see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. In the evening, you will return to Arusha.
