Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, our professional guide will be waiting to welcome you. You will then be driven approximately 180 km (about four hours) to your reserved lodge, located closer to our main destination. During the journey, the guide will provide a briefing about your upcoming trip.

Chimpanzee trekking

We will wake up early in the morning to leave the lodge at 4:00 am and drive for about one hour to reach the Uwinka Reception. The park guide will begin with a briefing before starting the chimpanzee tracking activity. This experience typically takes between 3-7 hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees, as they are constantly moving in search of food. Along the trail, you will also have the chance to encounter various monkey species.

Canopy walk, Zipline and Rope course experience

We will wake up early in the morning to leave the hotel at 6:00 a.m and drive for about 30 minutes to reach the Gisakura Reception. The park guide will then take you on a hike to the Kamiranzovu Waterfalls, an activity that takes approximately 4-5 hours. In the afternoon, you will experience 3 adventure activities which are canopy walk, Zipline and Rope course experiences.

After breakfast, we will drive approximately 4 hours from the lodge to Kigali International Airport. We will make a stop over in our way for taking your lunch and buying souvenirs.
