Day 1

After an early breakfast, you’ll meet your driver for a briefing about your trip to Lake Mburo National Park. Drive toward western Uganda through rolling hills, impressive landscapes, and the towns of Masaka and Lyantonde, where you will stop briefly. Continue to Lake Mburo for an afternoon boat ride.
Upon arrival at the park, check in at the lodge, then proceed with the boat ride on Lake Mburo, which is home to a variety of wildlife such as herds of African buffaloes, elephants, large populations of zebras, leopards (mostly spotted at night), hyenas, warthogs, and impalas that come to the lake shores to bathe and drink. Bird lovers can also spot species including sunbirds, African fish eagles, grey crowned cranes, weaver birds, herons, kingfishers, and red bishops.
Later, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2
Lake Mburo National Park - Kampala
Lake Mburo National Park - Kampala
Enjoy a morning breakfast, meet your tour guide, and continue with a game drive in the park lasting approximately three-to-four hours. You will have the chance to see a variety of wildlife, including buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, topis, hyenas, impalas, and leopards, among others.
Afterward, return to the lodge for check out and begin the journey back to Kampala, stopping in Masaka town for lunch and a photo opportunity at the equator for a memorable experience. Then proceed to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for your flight home.
