Your adventure begins with an early morning hotel pickup and transfer to Zanzibar Airport for a scenic flight to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous). Upon arrival, meet your guide and embark on a thrilling game drive in an open safari vehicle, exploring the vast landscapes and spotting wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, and hippos. Midday, enjoy a delicious bush lunch by the Rufiji River before continuing your safari in the afternoon. As the sun sets, head to your lodge or tented camp for a relaxing evening, dinner, and an overnight stay in the heart of the wilderness.

Bush Walk, Boat Safari & Return to Zanzibar

Start your day with an exhilarating early morning bush walk, accompanied by an expert guide and armed ranger. This immersive experience allows you to explore the African wilderness on foot, learning about animal tracks, plants, and the smaller details of the ecosystem. Afterward, enjoy a picnic breakfast before heading to the Rufiji River for a scenic boat safari. Glide along the river, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species while soaking in the tranquil surroundings. After this unique water safari, transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.
