Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

After a hearty breakfast, your driver-guide reports to your hotel or pick you at the airport for the start of the safari, with a departure for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara, Kenya's famous game reserve. Stop briefly en route at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of an enormous valley system said to be visible from outer space. Arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch. After lunch, we will have an afternoon game drive which will allow spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park. The reserve is known for providing excellent predator sightings thanks to its relatively large population of lions, cheetahs and leopards. Bordering Tanzania, the Mara is in the northern extension of Serengeti and forms a wildlife corridor between the two countries. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Explore Masai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy an early morning and evening game drive to absorb the enormity of the Masai Mara National Reserve. In this country of breathtaking vistas, you will see its vast assemblages of plains game together with their associated predators. Be ready to look for buffalo, black rhino, hippopotamus, leopard, cheetah, lion, common zebra, Coke's hartebeest, white-bearded gnu, oribi, warthog, and Thompson's and Grant's gazelles. You will have an optional visit to the Maasai Cultural Village. This one-hour visit to a Maasai village is a chance to interact with the Maasai, get a glimpse into their culture and unique way of life, and see firsthand some of their customs and practices. All meals and overnight stay are at the lodge.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

You will wake up and at around 6:30am and have an early pre-morning game drive, then come back for breakfast at around 9:30am, and later pack your things and check out of the lodge and head back to Nairobi. You will arriving back to Nairobi aroundafternoon. You'll be dropped off at the airport or at your preferred location.
