Your guide will meet you at your lodge for an early pick-up from Kampala or Entebbe, taking you through beautiful landscapes with a stop at the Equator for photos, experiments, and bathroom breaks if needed. You'll pause for a meal in Mbarara or another town along the way before continuing to Bwindi, where you'll arrive at your lodge in the evening. You'll settle in for dinner and an overnight stay near the Rushaga sector.

In the early morning, you'll enjoy breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla habituation. After trekking to meet the gorillas, you'll spend up to four hours with a semi-habituated gorilla family, observing their behavior and learning about conservation efforts, all accompanied by trackers. After this unforgettable experience, you'll return to the lodge for lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Essentials to pack: comfortable clothing, waterproof boots, snacks, water, a camera, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
