Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Game drive

In the morning your guide will be at your hotel reception waiting for you. A brief introduction from the guide and your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kampala passing through rolling hills, tea plantations, and traditional villages. You will make a stop at the Equator for some photos and later continue on the journey.
Upon arrival, you’ll embark on an afternoon game drive, exploring the vast savannah plains where you can spot elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, warthogs, and lions. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, a rare sight found in only a few places in Africa.
As the sun sets, you’ll check into your lodge, where you can relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the park’s landscapes dinner and overnight.

Game drives and boat cruise

The morning game drive starts early, around 6:00 AM, when wildlife is most active, you start your day with an early morning game drive, exploring the park’s diverse landscapes. You’ll also encounter hippos, antelopes, and various bird species.
During the last hour of the morning game drive, you’ll head to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise. This 32-kilometer-long waterway connects Lake Edward and Lake George and is home to hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and buffaloes. The channel is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 600 species, including African fish eagles, kingfishers, and pelicans. After the 2 hours boat ride we head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxing.
Later you can choose to go for an evening game drive or chill at the lodge pool the rest of the evening dinner and overnight.

Check out and transfer to Entebbe or Kampala

In the morning after breakfast, you check out of your rooms and head to the jeep, your guide will be waiting to start the drive to Kampala or Entebbe.
The journey will take 6-7 hours, we will have some stops for lunch, bathroom use and coffee breaks.
