Moshi - Lake Manyara National Park - Lake Manyara Region

Moshi - Lake Manyara National Park - Lake Manyara Region

Your safari adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel after breakfast. Accompanied by your professional guide, you’ll set off on a scenic 3-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park from moshi, nestled at the base of the dramatic East African Rift Valley.

This picturesque park is named after the shallow alkaline lake that dominates its landscape. The lake is a haven for birdlife, attracting large colonies of water birds.

Lake Manyara is also famous for its rare tree-climbing lions, often spotted lounging in the branches of acacia trees, especially in the central, open areas of the park. As you explore the park on your game drive, you'll also encounter a variety of wildlife including elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and many more.

In the late afternoon, you’ll exit the park and head to your campsite near the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu, where you'll enjoy dinner and spend the night under the stars.
