Your adventure begins early in the morning as you leave Nairobi at 7:00 AM, driving through the lush central highlands and northern plains with breathtaking views of Mount Kenya. You’ll arrive at Samburu National Reserve in time for a delicious lunch at the Samburu Sopa Lodge. In the afternoon, set off for your first game drive and discover the park's rare wildlife, including the "Samburu Special Five"—Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and the elegant gerenuk. The Ewaso Ngiro River provides a stunning backdrop for wildlife sightings, including herds of elephants. You’ll end the day back at the lodge, immersed in the beauty of this remarkable reserve.

On Day 2, wake up to the golden hues of the African dawn as you sip a steaming cup of coffee while gazing at the surrounding wilderness from your lodge's veranda. Before the dew evaporates from the grass, you’ll set off in search of the elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs that thrive in the reserve’s grasslands and acacia woodlands. Your day will be spent alternating between thrilling game drives and relaxing back at the lodge.

Day 3
Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast, embark on a short morning game drive before checking out and departing for Lake Nakuru National Park. En route, you’ll enjoy a scenic lunch before continuing to the park. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a game drive where you’ll encounter the park’s abundant wildlife, including rhinos, giraffes, buffalo, and over 450 species of birds. Lake Nakuru is known for its stunning scenery and rich wildlife, making for an exciting and fulfilling afternoon. In the evening you will return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4
Tranfer to Masai Mara

You’ll head south after breakfast towards the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. After lunch at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge, you'll set off on your first game drive in the reserve, which is famous for its incredible wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. You’ll see large herds of plains game, along with numerous predators that make the Mara so famous. The thrill of spotting wildlife in this magical environment is unmatched, return back to the lodge for delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight.

Day 5
Masai Mara Discovery
Masai Mara Discovery
The Masai Mara is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary, and Day 5 is devoted to exploring its vast plains. With its abundant wildlife and gentle rolling grasslands, you’re bound to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and even predators like cheetahs and leopards. The park is also a haven for birdwatchers, with over 50 species of birds of prey. If your Safari aligns with the season you will witness the great wildebeest migration which occurs July to October. The sight of herds of elephants browsing among the rich, tree-studded grasslands, accompanied by gazelles, topis, and elands, is one you won’t soon forget. At the end of the day you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6
Transfer Back to Nairobi City

On your final day, you’ll enjoy breakfast at the camp before checking out and beginning your journey back to Nairobi. During your drive, you’ll have the option to visit a Maasai village to immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of this indigenous group. After lunch, you’ll be dropped off at your preferred destination, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure full of memories.
