Day 1

Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

We shall pick you up from your hotel/ residence or airport, depart from Nairobi early morning (around 7:00 am), and embark on the scenic drive to Samburu, passing through Kenya’s picturesque central highlands. You will arrive in time for lunch and check-in. After lunch, you will head out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve, where you’ll spot Samburu’s unique wildlife, including the “Samburu Special Five” (Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, beisa oryx, and gerenuk).

Later, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Samburu National Reserve - Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Samburu National Reserve - Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast at the camp, you'll embark on a drive to the renowned Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Nanyuki. This journey will allow you to see more of the Kenyan countryside and beautiful landscapes. You will arrive in time for lunch and check in at Serena Sweet Waters Camp. You will set out for your afternoon game drive. Ol Pejeta is famous for its rhino conservation efforts, including being home to the last remaining northern white rhinos. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary and observe other iconic African wildlife.

The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3

Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Nakuru National Park

Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, head south through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru and arrive in time for lunch and check-in. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, where you will get the chance to spot white and black rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, and, if lucky, leopards. The lake itself is known for its flocks of flamingos and diverse bird species.

The game drive will end around 6:30 pm, and return to the camp for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, set off for Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, you will embark on your first Mara game drive. Witness the rolling plains dotted with wildlife—elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, and possibly cheetahs. Capture the golden hour as the sun sets over the savannah.

The game drive will end around 6:30 pm, and return to the camp for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Optional: Early morning: Balloon Safari over the Mara at sunrise for breathtaking aerial views of the savannah and its wildlife.

You will have an early morning breakfast, then head out for a full-day game drive with a Picnic Lunch in the heart of the reserve, surrounded by stunning scenery. You will stop at the Mara River to see the crocodiles, hippos, and other animals as they quench their thirst. In the evening, after the game drive, you will have an optional visit to a Maasai village to have a glimpse into the vibrant culture and traditions of the Maasai people. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the camp.

Day 6

After breakfast, relax as you reminisce on your wonderful experience, bid farewell to the Masai Mara, and begin the journey back to Nairobi at around 10:00 am, enjoying one last drive (with the pop-up roof closed) through the reserve as you exit. You will have lunch en route to Nairobi. You will arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel/residence in Nairobi or the Airport, marking the end of your trip with us.
