Scenic Drive and Game Viewing in Tarangire

Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. If you are not staying in Arusha, please make your own way to the designated meeting point. After a short briefing, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its striking baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a full day game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, where you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many bird species. Tarangire offers a more off the beaten path experience with fewer crowds than other parks. In the late afternoon, you'll head to your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight stay. Optional accommodation upgrades are available for an extra cost.

After breakfast, depart from your lodge and begin your scenic journey toward Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views as you pass through the lush highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You may stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater for photo opportunities. Continue across the vast plains, where wildlife sightings become more frequent as you approach the Serengeti. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive in the park, famous for its endless savannahs and abundance of wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, and migrating herds of wildebeest and zebras. Later in the day, you’ll check in at your selected lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight. Accommodation upgrades are available upon request for an extra cost.

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most iconic geological features in Africa. The drive offers stunning landscapes, including views of the Ngorongoro Highlands and nearby volcanic craters. Upon arrival, you’ll have the option to visit the Ngorongoro Crater rim for panoramic views before the descent into the crater itself. If you have time, you can also explore a Maasai village, an optional activity for an extra cost. In the afternoon, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha or a designated meeting point for your onward journey.
