Day 1
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
We’ll pick you up from your hotel and introduce you to your tour guide and chef before heading to Tarangire National Park, a two-hour drive away. Known for its varied landscapes, the park is famous for its towering ancient baobab trees and for housing the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania! You'll have an excellent chance to witness elephant families interacting. Depending on animal sightings reported that day, we’ll embark on a game drive through the park. While predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards are harder to spot, herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras are abundant and easy to find.
Next, we'll head to the Tarangire River picnic site, where you can enjoy lunch with a scenic view of the river and wildlife. Be prepared for some mischievous monkeys and baboons who might try to steal your meal, but there's no need to worry. After lunch, we’ll continue the game drive and aim to exit the park around 4:30 pm.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater’s rich volcanic soil supports a variety of habitats, making it possible to see the Big Five in a single day. Inside the park lies Lake Makat, or Soda Lake in Masai, which is home to numerous bird species.
The park is also famous for the many Masai families living in their traditional circular-shaped bomas. For those interested in human evolution, it’s a must-visit, as it’s closely tied to the groundbreaking work of the Leakey family.
You can expect to spot animals such as lions, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, gazelles, jackals, foxes, wild dogs, elands, waterbucks, servals, and various ungulates. However, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, and elephants are rarely seen at the crater rim.
In the evening, you’ll be driven back to Arusha and dropped off at your hotel.
