Today, we depart Johannesburg early in the morning and head to Kruger National Park, traveling via the scenic Panorama Route along the Drakensberg escarpment. During the journey we will make stops at the historic Pilgrim's Rest gold mining town, God’s Window, Blyde River Canyon, and the iconic Three Rondavels. We will also stop for lunch and rest breaks. Upon arrival at our main destination in the afternoon, our team will set up your tents and our dedicated bush chef will prepare a delicious dinner for you to enjoy.

Day 2

Kruger National Park

Kruger National Park

Wake up in the morning and start your day with coffee and rusks or cakes before departing on a game drive. This full-day safari takes place in Kruger National Park in an open safari vehicle and lasts approximately eight to nine hours. A lunch break will be provided at one of the park’s restaurants. In the afternoon, return to the campsite for some rest. Dinner will be prepared and served in the campsite’s boma area.

The game drives today are split into two sessions and conducted within the boundaries of Manyeleti Game Reserve, each lasting three to four hours. Between the drives, enjoy a relaxing time around the campsite area, where occasional visits by wild animals may occur. Breakfast and dinner are included and will be served at the campsite.

Today’s bushwalk is conducted by armed rangers and lasts approximately three hours. This activity focuses on exploring the rich fauna and flora of Africa’s vegetation, offering an educational and informative experience. This is a moment you won’t want to miss! Upon returning, breakfast will be prepared and served, followed by a rest period.

The second program today is a visit to the nearby Welverdiend community. The tour is led by a local guide who was born and raised in the area, providing authentic insights into various sectors of the community. Learn about traditional and modern aspects of local culture, as well as the factors that have shaped the community over time. Return to the reserve around sunset. Dinner this evening will be at a local restaurant and is at your own cost.

Today's schedule offers the opportunity to join a guided tour at the Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation Centre. This center provides care and a second chance at life for injured and endangered wild animals and birds. The guided tour lasts approximately two hours.

After the visit, you will continue with a direct drive to Johannesburg, marking the end of your safari experience.
