Day 1

After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your safari guide will meet you for a short briefing to go over the day’s plan and answer any last-minute questions. You’ll then set off for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of about two hours through rural landscapes and Maasai villages. Tarangire is Tanzania’s sixth-largest national park, covering around 2,600 square kilometers. It's best known for its large herds of elephants, dramatic landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees, and seasonal swamps that attract a wide variety of wildlife. Keep an eye out for lions, giraffes, buffalo, and the rare tree-climbing African python. You’ll enjoy a full day of game drives, exploring different areas of the park and stopping for a picnic lunch at a designated site before continuing your wildlife viewing. Later in the afternoon, you'll head to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

We will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive through one of Tanzania’s most scenic parks. Lake Manyara itself is a shallow, alkaline lake covering about 231 square kilometers within the 329-square-kilometer park. Often described as the “loveliest lake in Africa,” it’s surrounded by diverse habitats, from groundwater forests to open plains.
The park is famous for its large troops of baboons, rich birdlife including flamingos and a variety of herbivores such as elephants, hippos, impalas, giraffes, wildebeests, buffalos, and warthogs. Keep an eye out for tree-climbing lions, which are occasionally seen here. The lush forest near the entrance, filled with giant fig and mahogany trees, offers a cool, green contrast to the rest of the park and is often the first place to spot wildlife. It’s a compact but rewarding park, perfect for a half- or full-day game drive.

Day 3

We will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive in one of Africa’s most breathtaking wildlife destinations. The Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, stretching about 260 square kilometers. Its rich volcanic soil and permanent water sources support a high concentration of wildlife year-round. You’ll have a chance to spot the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo alongside hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and various antelope species.
After an exciting morning of wildlife viewing, we’ll break for lunch at the famous Crater hippo swamp, where you can enjoy a delicious meal with stunning panoramic views. In the afternoon, we’ll continue exploring the lush Lerai Forest and open grasslands, offering one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Tanzania, all within a single, unforgettable day.

Day 4

You’ll leave behind the highlands and make your way to the iconic Serengeti National Park. The drive offers a stunning change in landscapes, taking you through vast savannahs, acacia woodlands, and possibly spotting wildlife along the way. As you enter the Serengeti, the vastness of the plains stretches out before you, offering a true sense of wilderness.
Your first game drive in the park will be a thrilling experience, where you’ll begin to encounter the park’s incredible wildlife, including lions, giraffes, and zebras. Serengeti's diverse ecosystem makes it one of the best places in the world for spotting the Big Five. After an exciting day, you'll settle into your accommodation, ready to rest up for another adventurous day in one of the most famous safari destinations on Earth.

Day 5

Enjoy a full day exploring the vast Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world. Begin the day with an early morning game drive, when the park's wildlife is most active. The Serengeti’s endless plains offer incredible opportunities to see the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.
After a break for lunch, continue with an afternoon drive, where you'll explore different areas of the park, from the central Serengeti's grassy plains to the woodlands and riverine forests. The Serengeti is renowned for its wildlife diversity, and you’ll have chances to witness thrilling predator-prey interactions, including the possibility of a dramatic hunt or a sighting of a majestic lion pride. As the day draws to a close, enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the Serengeti, with the golden hues casting a warm glow on the landscape. The experience will leave you in awe of the wild beauty surrounding you.

Day 6

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti via Klein’s Gate and begin your scenic drive toward the remote and dramatic landscapes of Lake Natron. The route takes you along the eastern edge of the Serengeti and down the Great Rift Valley escarpment, with breathtaking views along the way. As you near Lake Natron, the terrain becomes raw and volcanic. This mineral-rich alkaline lake is the only major breeding ground for over 2 million lesser flamingos. Despite its harsh conditions, it’s teeming with life and haunting beauty.
The flamingos, often seen in shimmering pink flocks, feed on the lake’s algae and nest on its salty crust. In the late afternoon, you can visit a nearby waterfall or take a guided walk along the lake’s edge. Spend the night near Ol Doinyo Lengai, the sacred Maasai volcano that looms over the landscape.

Day 7

After breakfast, take a short hike to the beautiful Ngare Sero Waterfalls, tucked into a shaded gorge near Lake Natron. The trail leads you along a scenic path through rocky terrain and streams perfect for a refreshing dip if you like. After the walk, visit a nearby Maasai boma to learn about the traditional lifestyle and customs of the Maasai people who call this remote region home. It’s a meaningful cultural experience and a chance to interact with locals in an authentic setting.
By midday, begin the drive back to Arusha, taking in the last views of the Rift Valley escarpment and the dramatic landscapes around Ol Doinyo Lengai. Expect to arrive in Arusha by late afternoon or early evening, depending on road conditions. This marks the end of your safari adventure full of wildlife, culture, and unforgettable landscapes.
