Day 1

Zanzibar - Serengeti National Park

Our driver-guide will pick you up from your lodge or hotel in Zanzibar after breakfast and drive you to Zanzibar Airport for your 8:00 am flight to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival at the Seronera Airstrip, you will be welcomed by our driver-guide. After a short briefing, you will begin your magical game drive in Serengeti National Park, carrying picnic lunch boxes for the day.

After the game drive, you will be transferred to the campsite for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park is renowned for the Great Migration, where large herds of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests move together in search of greener pastures, depending on the rainy season. Wake up early, eat breakfast, and then enjoy a fantastic game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later in the afternoon, you’ll depart for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay at accommodations located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. This location offers the perfect opportunity to descend into the crater early the next morning, increasing your chances of spotting a wide variety of animals while they are still active.

After breakfast, we'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Once the day is complete, we will transfer you to your accommodations in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s natural wonders. It is also the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world. Inside the crater, you’ll have the opportunity to explore spectacular landscapes, unwind in a unique environment, and spot all members of the “Big Five:” lion prides, buffalo herds, elephants, leopards, and the endangered black rhino. You may also encounter bird species like flamingos around the crater lakes, along with a wide variety of other wildlife within minutes.

Our driver-guide will pick you up from the lodge early in the morning with lunch boxes in hand and begin your beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. After the game drive, we will return to your lodge in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds and features a diverse landscape, ranging from seasonal swamps to savanna. The Tarangire River winds through the park and serves as the only source of water for wildlife during the dry season. You may have the chance to witness a lion stalking its prey or a leopard resting in the trees above.

After breakfast, you’ll depart with a packed lunch in hand for Lake Manyara National Park. After enjoying extensive game drives and the beautiful nature of the park, we will transfer you to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.

Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions that often rest among the branches, as well as the numerous colonies of baboons that inhabit the forest and can be seen along the road from the moment you enter the park.
