Transfer to Bwindi, Equator stop

Your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park begins with a scenic drive from Kampala. Our guide will be at your lodge early in the morning for pickup after breakfast. Along the way, you'll stop at the Equator landmark in Kayabwe, where you will take photos, enjoy water experiments demonstrating the Earth's rotation, and browse local crafts. After this fascinating stop, you'll continue through Uganda's picturesque countryside, passing rolling hills, terraced farms, and vibrant communities. We will make stop for lunch in Mbarara town and later continue driving.

Upon arrival at Bwindi, you'll check into your lodge, where you'll be welcomed with warm hospitality and stunning views of the surrounding rainforest. Relax and prepare for the exciting gorilla trekking adventure awaiting you the next day.

Gorilla trekking and drive to Lake Bunyonyi, Community tour

After an early morning breakfast, your adventure begins with gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park we drive to the briefing center to be allocated a family of gorillas and assigned to the park rangers who will be with you through the whole experience, you embark on a guided hike through dense rainforest to encounter mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. This thrilling experience allows you to observe these gentle giants up close, creating unforgettable memories.

After the trek, you'll drive to lake Bunyonyi, a serene destination known for its breathtaking views and tranquil waters. Here, you can unwind and enjoy activities like canoeing or birdwatching; to enrich your experience, you'll participate in a community tour, visiting local villages to learn about the culture and traditions. It's a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and cultural immersion! After the community tour we return to your lodge dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe

In the morning after breakfast you check out of your room head to the Jeep our guide will be waiting for transfer to either Entebbe or Kampala to your lodge or Airport.
The journey takes about 7–8 hours, depending on the traffic. We will make some stops for bathroom use, coffee breaks and lunch.
On arrival at your lodge will be the end of this amazing trip and we hope to see you again on another adventure.
