Your adventure begins with morning scenic flight transfer to the remote and untamed Kidepo Valley National Park, nestled in Uganda’s northeastern frontier near the South Sudan border. Upon arrival, check into a luxury lodge (Apoka Safari Lodge), set against the backdrop of rugged hills and sweeping golden plains.
In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive through Narus Valley, where you’ll spot buffalo herds, zebras, giraffes, jackals, and possibly elusive cheetahs and lions. The landscape is cinematic — open and raw, with Mount Morungole rising dramatically to the west. As the sun sets over the savannah, you return to the lodge for dinner and storytelling overnight.

Day 2

The day begins with a warm cup of coffee as the golden light spills across the Narus Valley, Kidepo’s prime wildlife corridor. This early drive is ideal for spotting animals at their most active, especially near water sources like the Narus River and crocodile ponds. Lions basking on granite outcrops or stalking Uganda kobs, Elephants in herds, drinking and grazing, Buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and more wildlife.
The drive follows scenic circuits like Kakine (Lion Rock) and Katurum, offering panoramic views and rich photographic opportunities. Later return to the lodge for lunch or choose to have a bush lunch and continue with the evening game drive, As the heat fades, the savannah breathes a cooler rhythm. The evening game drive is a chance to witness predators preparing to hunt and herbivores grazing in the golden hour. Then dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3
Transfer to Murchison National Park
Transfer to Murchison National Park
Rise early to the serene sounds of the African wilderness, enjoying breakfast at your lodge in at your lodge. As the golden light of dawn spills across the savannah, and begin your scenic overland journey to Uganda’s largest protected area Murchison Falls National Park. This drive is approximately 7 to 8 hours, weaving through a series of dramatic landscapes that offer a window into the diverse ecological and cultural fabric of northern Uganda.
Journey takes you through expansive plains and traditional homesteads, offering glimpses of daily life in Karamoja and Acholi sub regions pause for lunch at a local restaurant. This is a perfect opportunity to stretch your legs, recharge, and perhaps interact with locals while enjoying a taste of northern Ugandan cuisine.
Refreshed, you’ll resume your journey southwards, soon arriving at the park gate. As you enter the park, the adventure continues with a short game drive, and then dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4

After an early morning breakfast, start your day with a sunrise game drive in the northern sector (Buligi, Albert, or Queen’s Track), you will Spot elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, hartebeests, and possibly leopards. For birders can keep an eye out for the Abyssinian ground hornbill and more.
Later you head for the Boat cruise, expect to see hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and a dazzling array of birds, the activity takes 2 hours, after you go for lunch and later drive to the Top of the falls, to do a 45minutes hike, Feel the thunder and mist as the Nile crashes down 43 meters pure power and beauty.

Day 5
Rhino tracking and transfer to Kampala

After breakfast in the morning, checkout and transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking.
Upon arrival, you’re welcomed by trained rangers who brief you on safety and conservation efforts. Then, you head into the walking through grasslands and thickets in search of rhinos. The experience is intimate and thrilling you may observe rhino mothers with calves, grazing peacefully or wallowing in mud.
Along the way, you might also spot Uganda kobs, bushbucks, waterbucks, and over 300 bird species, including the shoebill stork if you're lucky. The sanctuary’s quiet beauty and conservation mission make this a meaningful finale to your safari.
Transfer to Entebbe 3.5–4 hrs.
After tracking, enjoy a light lunch or refreshments at the sanctuary’s lodge or café before beginning your drive to Entebbe.
You’ll arrive in Entebbe by late afternoon or early evening, depending on traffic. Drop-off can be at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport for departure.
