At first light, you'll depart the lodge and make your way to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera and ranks among Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. The crater floor is teeming with wildlife—wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, hippos, and elephants all roam freely here. Keep your eyes peeled for predators, including lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and, if you’re lucky, the elusive leopard. The crater’s lake also attracts large flocks of flamingos and a variety of water birds.

After an unforgettable morning of wildlife viewing, enjoy a scenic packed lunch by the hippo pool. From there, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha, with the option to be dropped off either at your hotel or directly at the airport.
