Tarangire National Park

Arrive in Arusha one day before the safari begins, as most domestic flights land around 9:15 AM, while group departures to Tarangire start at 7:00 AM. Since this is a short two-day safari, a late start would reduce your time in the park. To maximize your experience, your expert safari guide will pick you up early from your hotel and drive you straight to Tarangire National Park.

Nicknamed the "Land of Giants," Tarangire is renowned for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. As you explore the park’s diverse landscapes, watch for giraffes, lions, warthogs, baboons, antelopes, and vibrant birdlife on an unforgettable game drive. A delicious picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot overlooking the Tarangire River.

Later in the afternoon, you will leave the park and head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay relax and reflect on an incredible first day in the wild.
