Arusha to Materuni Waterfall and then drive back to Arusha

Program: Begin your day with a scenic drive from Arusha to Materuni Village, located on the lush slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walk through local farmlands and forest trails leading to the breathtaking Materuni Waterfall, where you can relax, take photos, and enjoy the refreshing natural surroundings. After the hike, visit a traditional coffee farm, where you will learn about the Chagga coffee-making process from bean to cup and take part in preparing and tasting freshly brewed local coffee. Following this enriching cultural and nature experience, you will drive back to Arusha and proceed to Arusha Summit Safari Lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay, as you prepare for the next stage of your safari adventure.

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater

Program of the Day: After an early breakfast, depart from your lodge and drive to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Descend into the world’s largest unbroken caldera, home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, black rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, and a wide variety of bird species. The early start allows you to experience the crater when animals are most active. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot on the crater floor before continuing your wildlife exploration. In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha Town, you will advise the dropping point in Arusha whether at the hotel or at the airport.
