3-Day Group-Joining Masai Mara Safari by a 4x4 Jeep

Pick-up from airport or hotel to Masa Mara National Reserve

At 8:00 am, you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and commence the drive to the Masai Mara. You will pass through the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you will have a 15-minute stopover. You will see different ecosystems in the valley, ranging from the mountain to the savannah and the lakes. You will proceed to the Mara and arrive at lunchtime. You will check in at Miti Mingi Camp or a similar location. The tents have a toilet, a shower, a bed, linen and mosquito nets. Electricity is provided from 6:00 to 8:00 am and from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.

Have a buffet lunch, then relax for a while, before embarking on an evening game drive in the park. Later, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

The Mara is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya, located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is mostly concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. It's regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas.

Full-day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve

At around 7:00 am, after breakfast, you will leave for a full day exploring the Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. The annual wildebeest migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. The phenomenal migration, which is a spectacular event only seen in the Masai Mara, is the Seventh Wonder of the World.

At midday, you will have a picnic lunch in the park, which is provided by us. You will visit the site of the yearly wildebeest migration and see the resident crocodiles and hippos situated at the banks of the Mara River, then continue with the game drive in the Masai Mara Reserve.

Return to Nairobi from Masai Mara

Enjoy breakfast, then check out for your drive back to Nairobi. Enjoy a brief stop at the Maasai Village for a cultural encounter on your way. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Maasai people (at an extra cost) as you head out of the Masai Mara. Thereafter, commence your drive to Nairobi. A simple complimentary lunch will be provided on the way in a traveller’s motel. On arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Nairobi.
