Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Kigali after your breakfast and then visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a powerful and educational experience. From here, enjoy a scenic 2.5-hour drive through Rwanda’s verdant hills to Volcanoes National Park. After checking in at your lodge and having lunch, head to the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Learn about Dian Fossey’s groundbreaking conservation work and explore interactive exhibits on gorilla biology and protection. First Gorilla Trek and Gorilla Guardian Village

Rise early for your first gorilla trekking experience. After a briefing at Kinigi Park Headquarters, join expert guides and trackers for a hike through misty rainforest to find one of the habituated gorilla families. Spend one awe-inspiring hour with the gorillas, observing their behavior in the wild.
