Day 1

We’ll depart from Arusha in the morning and head straight to Tarangire National Park, named after the life-giving river that winds through its heart. The Tarangire River attracts a wide range of wildlife, including giraffes, waterbucks, wildebeests, zebras, and one of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania.

Home to over 550 bird species, the park also boasts a picturesque landscape of rolling hills, ancient baobab trees, and a variety of grasses. After an exhilarating morning game drive, you’ll enjoy a scenic picnic lunch overlooking the river, followed by more wildlife viewing before exiting the park in the late afternoon.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we set off for the iconic Serengeti National Park, renowned as the home of the famed Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros. Spanning more than 14,000 square kilometers, the park’s name comes from a Maasai word meaning “endless plains”—an apt reflection of its vast, untamed beauty.

The Serengeti teems with wildlife, boasting around 3 million large game animals, including over 2,500 lions, 1.2 million wildebeest, and more than 200,000 zebras. You may also encounter giraffes, baboons, colobus monkeys, gazelles, antelopes, hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, hartebeests, and more.

Bird lovers will find plenty to admire, with over 500 recorded species, such as ostriches, vultures, martial eagles, Kori bustards, crowned cranes, and the distinctive secretary bird.

Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch amidst nature before embarking on an afternoon game drive across the seemingly infinite savannah.

After breakfast, we’ll set out on a morning game drive as we make our way toward the main gate of the Serengeti. Along the way, we’ll stop for a relaxed picnic lunch surrounded by the beauty of the wild.

Our journey then continues toward the Ngorongoro Crater, passing through an ever-changing landscape of open plains, rolling hills, and lush forests. By early evening, we’ll arrive at your chosen accommodation, where you can unwind and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

After breakfast, we’ll set off for the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. Its name comes from a Maasai word meaning “Gift of Life” a fitting title for this natural haven teeming with wildlife.

Your adventure begins at the crater rim, where you’ll take in sweeping panoramic views before descending into the vast caldera. Within the crater’s unique ecosystem, you’ll have the chance to spot elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, and an incredible variety of birdlife. A scenic picnic lunch awaits you beside a tranquil hippo pool an ideal setting to relax and soak in the surroundings.

Whether under clear skies or amidst the mystic morning mists, the Ngorongoro Crater offers breathtaking beauty year-round and unforgettable encounters with nature.

We’ll return to your accommodation in the early evening, with plenty of stories and memories to carry with you.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, we’ll make our way to the stunning Lake Manyara, a shallow alkaline lake renowned for its lush scenery and abundant birdlife. The diverse ecosystem here is home to over 300 bird species, including cormorants, pink flamingos, pelicans, and storks a paradise for birdwatchers.

Following a relaxing picnic lunch, we’ll head out on an afternoon game drive. Keep an eye out for the park’s thriving populations of elephants and its famously large troops of baboons—Lake Manyara is known to have more baboons than any other park in Africa! And with a bit of luck, you might spot the elusive tree-climbing lions, one of the park’s most iconic residents.

As the day winds down, we’ll journey back to Arusha in the evening, bringing a close to a memorable day in the wil.
