Settle into your comfortable lodge or hotel where you can relax and recover from your journey.
Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the vibrant town of Arusha or simply unwind in the peaceful surroundings of your accommodation. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and receive a short safari briefing from your guide, preparing you for the exciting adventure ahead.
This first day is all about a smooth arrival, warm hospitality, and resting up for the wild experiences to come.

After breakfast, depart Arusha and journey through Maasai villages and open plains toward Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem known for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds. Upon arrival, embark on a thrilling game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, home to lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and over 500 bird species.
The Tarangire River attracts a wide variety of wildlife, especially during the dry season. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the park, surrounded by nature. Continue your afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, depart karatu and enjoy a scenic drive through the highlands, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on your way to the legendary Serengeti. Watch the landscape transform from verdant hills to endless savannahs as you enter one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations.
Along the way, you may spot wildlife even before reaching the park gates. Arrive in the Serengeti by midday and begin your first thrilling game drive across the vast plains, home to the Big Five and the Great Migration.
Witness herds of wildebeests, zebras, and predators in their natural habitat.
Later in the evening, head to your lodge or tented camp nestled within the park for dinner and an overnight stay under the starlit Serengeti sky.

Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration—a breathtaking spectacle of thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the plains. As the sun sets over the savannah, return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay, immersed in the sounds of the wild.

Descend 600 meters into the crater for a spectacular game drive in this wildlife-rich paradise.
The crater floor offers a chance to spot the Big Five, along with flamingos at Lake Magadi, hippos in freshwater pools, and rare black rhinos grazing in the open grasslands.

Your African Eyes Safaris guide will then transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, ensuring you arrive on time and with unforgettable memories of your safari adventure.
