After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel and begin your journey toward the legendary Serengeti. Along the way, you'll pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping to admire the breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater—one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes. As you enter the Serengeti, the vastness of the plains unfolds before you. The name "Serengeti" comes from the Maasai word Siringiti, meaning "endless plains"—a name that perfectly captures the sweeping savannahs stretching to the horizon, interrupted only by scattered granite kopjes, shaped by centuries of weathering. These unique rock formations serve as ideal lookout points for predators like leopards, which you're likely to spot along with other big cats, all visible through your vehicle’s open roof. In the afternoon, enjoy a freshly prepared local meal before continuing on to your lodge, where you'll settle in for the night.
