The name "Serengeti" comes from the Maasai word Siringiti, meaning "endless plains"—a name that perfectly captures the sweeping savannahs stretching to the horizon, interrupted only by scattered granite kopjes, shaped by centuries of weathering. These unique rock formations serve as ideal lookout points for predators like leopards, which you're likely to spot along with other big cats, all visible through your vehicle’s open roof.
