Arusha to Tarangire

We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 am. After meeting the guide and chef, we will drive to Tarangire National Park (2-hour drive), famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and for having the largest concentration of elephants in the country, and it offers unique opportunities to observe interactions among elephant families.

We will do a game drive through the park, depending on where there are reported sightings of animals (mostly predators, lions, cheetah and leopards as they are harder to spot). Herbivores (giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, etc) are plenty to see through the park. Later, we will go to the Tarangire River picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and animals while having lunch. Small monkeys and baboons will try to scare you off your lunch, but there is nothing to worry about. After lunch, we will proceed with the game drive and later head to our accommodation for dinner and sleep.

Ngorongoro Crater game drive

Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region

After an early breakfast, we will descend the crater (6:15 am) to find the black rhino. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater, as most animals are easier to spot in this park because it is a floor crater. After lunch, we will do a game drive, ascend the crater, and pack for the trip to the airport.
