Day 1
Pick up from Zanzibar, and Drive to Tarangire National Park

At 5 a.m., you’ll be picked up at your hotel/resort in Zanzibar and transferred to Zanzibar Airport, where you’ll board a domestic flight to Arusha Airport, which takes approximately one hour. Upon your arrival at the Arusha Airport, you will be met by our office representative, who will assist you to the safari jeep and introduce you to your driver-guide.
After a short safari briefing, you will kick-start your dream African journey with a 2-hour drive from Arusha City to Tarangire National Park, where your private safari begins. This quiet park is famous for its elephant migration, birdlife, and authentic safari atmosphere. You will enjoy a packed lunch at midday, and at the end of the afternoon’s game drive, you will make your way to your accommodation. On arrival, you will have time to refresh before finishing the day with dinner under the stars and a good night’s sleep in one of our comfortable accommodations.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Serengeti National Park
Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Serengeti National Park
Early in the morning, after breakfast at around 8:00 a.m you will drive straight to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop at a viewing point. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is one of the most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites in the world and an exceptional place to interact with the Maasai people. On reaching the crater’s edge, the 20 km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory, and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals, including a wide range of bird species, hyenas, and the endangered black rhino. Hot Lunch will be served at a picnic spot at the hippo pool, and after that, you will drive straight to the heart of Serengeti National Park. You will have an en-route drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Serengeti National Park to Karatu Town
Serengeti National Park to Karatu Town
Early morning, after breakfast at around 8:00 am or according to your preference, you will continue exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park for a half-day game drive. The Serengeti National Park is home to the world's largest concentration of wildlife.
The park offers a multitude of wildlife, including the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. Hot lunch will be served inside the park at around 12:30 pm, along with soft drinks and unlimited drinking water.
You will have a final game drive in the afternoon, around 3 pm, when you will drive straight to the gate and head for your accommodation in Karatu, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4
Hadzabe & Datoga Cultural Tour and Return to Zanzibar
Hadzabe & Datoga Cultural Tour and Return to Zanzibar
Meet the Hadzabe community, also known as the bushmen. They are the last hunter-gatherers found in Tanzania’s Rift Valley. The Hadzabe community will welcome you into their ancestral home, and go for a hunt in the bush as they search for their daily meal, and later you’ll return to their community, and they’ll demonstrate their hunting skills as you participate with the young, energetic members of the community. Later, you will visit the Datoga people, skilled metalworkers and farmers, and renowned ironworkers.
After the tour, you’ll head back to your hotel for a hot lunch and drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
If you would like to have an extra night in Arusha, we can arrange that for you, or if you are flying, we will drive you straight to the airport to catch your onward flight.
After lunch, we will drive you to Arusha and catch a flight to Zanzibar.
