The park is centered around the life-giving Tarangire River and is especially famous for hosting some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. During your full-day game drive, you may also spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudus, buffalos, oryx, elands, giraffes, and zebras. Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Arusha

On the final day of your safari adventure, you'll get an early start. After a quick breakfast, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at around 6:30 AM. Often referred to as the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater spans approximately 260 square kilometers and plunges to a depth of over 2,000 feet.

Your 5-hour game drive across the crater floor promises some of the most concentrated wildlife viewing in Africa. Be sure to keep your camera ready—you’ll have the chance to see African elephants, buffalos, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions in abundance.

After enjoying a scenic picnic lunch by the beautiful Hippo Pool, you'll ascend the steep crater walls for the final leg of your journey. A 4-hour drive will take you back to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at your chosen location by approximately 6:00 PM. With unforgettable memories and incredible experiences, this is where you say goodbye to your safari team.
