Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, a vast area known for its massive herds of elephants, towering baobab trees, and dramatic savannah landscapes. Lake Natron – Flamingos & Waterfalls

Today, journey north through remote Maasai lands to the surreal landscapes of Lake Natron. This alkaline lake is home to thousands of flamingos and framed by volcanic peaks including the active Ol Doinyo Lengai. Take a guided walk to explore the lake’s edge and learn about its unique ecosystem. Later, hike through a scenic gorge to reach the Engaresero Waterfalls, where you can enjoy a swim in a natural pool beneath the cliffs. After breakfast and a final Serengeti sunrise, begin your journey toward the village of Mto wa Mbu. Lake Eyasi – Hadzabe & Datoga Tribes

Today is dedicated to cultural immersion as you drive to Lake Eyasi, a remote and scenic area home to the Hadzabe and Datoga people. Wake up early to join the Hadzabe for a traditional hunting walk, learning their ancient techniques for survival in the wild. Later, meet the Datoga people, skilled blacksmiths who will demonstrate how they forge tools and jewelry from scrap metal. These rare encounters offer a fascinating insight into Tanzania’s tribal heritage. Return to Karatu or Mto wa Mbu for overnight.

On your final day, take a relaxing trip to Materuni village near Moshi. A guided hike through green forest leads you to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls, where you can enjoy the cool spray and scenic surroundings. Afterwards, join a local coffee-making tour where you’ll pick, roast, and brew Arabica coffee with help from your hosts. This calm and cultural experience is a great way to end your journey. After lunch, transfer to the airport or back to your hotel in Arusha.
