You'll be collected from the airport.

Day 1

Your driver-guide from Kimed Ecotours will pick you up from the hotel at 3 am Rwanda time. You'll then embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park headquarters. Then, you'll undergo a briefing about gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You'll form a group of 8 to track a gorilla family. Led by a ranger and a guide, you'll start trekking in search of the gorilla family. The time taken to see the gorillas depends on where they spent the last night and their movements in search of food, but it takes between 30 minutes to 6 hours to find them, depending on the movement of the gorillas. Upon finding the gorilla family, you'll spend an hour in the presence of these magnificent creatures. You can use this time to take photos, record videos, and watch the gorillas' way of living and their behaviors. After lunch and seeing the gorillas, return to Kigali, arriving in the evening, and either check in at the lodge or fly out to mark the end of the tour.
